Tammy Lee - CCC, CVRP
I am a clinical counsellor registered as a Canadian Certified Counsellor (CCC) with Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association (CCPA). I’m also a Certified Vocational Rehabilitation Professional (CVRP). With more than a decade of experience in mental health and vocational rehabilitation, I’m here to help you with issues like anxiety, stress, depression, confidence, relationships, life changes, career decisions, and job-related concerns.
More about me
My academic background includes a master’s degree in counselling psychology from the University of British Columbia and an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Psychology and Biological Anthropology from the University of Toronto. I am a former adjunct professor in the Department of Educational & Counselling Psychology & Special Education in the Faculty of Education at the University of British Columbia.
During our counselling sessions, I use different approaches like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness techniques, Person-centered therapy, and Motivational Interviewing. If you’re seeking career advice, we’ll also explore tools and job market info to help you find your interests, potential job options, resources, and training possibilities.
I’ve faced my own share of challenges including immigration experience, which taught me that we can change our outlook, find new opportunities, and create positive experiences for a better future. I’m here to guide you through practical strategies for improving your mood, setting realistic goals, and fostering personal growth.
